Hi Kelvin, pm sent re Heinkel.
Thread: PHF * Heng Long 1/16 Jagdpanther
Just had a catch up with this, it goes way beyond restoration, some superb engineering Patrick, very impressive indeed.
Thread: ME-262 Scratch Build 1/100 #5 (JB SSGB17)
More very impressive work Jim, I'm just glad there are kits out there for us mere mortals
Thread: 200 Mitches Border Regtiment Bust
Looking forward to your take on this one Peter, I'm thinking another master class
Thread: Bang, Bang, I Shot You Down (SSGB17)
Yet another vehicle I've never seen before, lots of nice detail on it.
Thread: STORM WARNING! Gale Force 3. Hawker's windy trio from Revell (SSGB17)
More micro madness, there's an epidemic on here. Nice start with this one Andy.
Thread: How do I apply Mr Hobby Metal Primer??
I use Halfords and have never had a problem with it, it gives a lovely smooth finish. Latest model to benefit was the little Mig I'm building.
Thread: Shenanigans 14: Italeri 1/35 Tiger 1
Excellent finish Peter, nothing wrong with how that looks at all.
Thread: F16 Cockpit
While waiting for paint to dry on my mig I finally managed to put this one to bed, I ended up using the kit supplied base and some plasticard chequer plate.
Thread: SSGB17 Tractor and Fire Truck ...Tovarich
Hi John, nothing like having a battle in this scale, I would have dropped it, repeatedly love the little tractor, great detail in such a tiny kit.
Thread: Rhine Crossing (SSGB17)
Your work rate is phenomenal, I'm only building a tiny plane and its taking forever
Thread: MiG-15bis (SSGB17)
Thanks for that Scottie. Top coat all finished now so hoping to do the clear coat tomorrow.
Thread: Running with the Devil (SSGB17)
That's a lot of bits 😁 Looking forward to seeing the first ever green u-boat.
Thread: MiG-15bis (SSGB17)
First dusting of silver.
John thanks for looking in. Andy don't bother getting your coat I'll do that for you 😁 and thanks. Allen always nice to have you along, it's a great little kit but I won't be beaten by these joins, well not just yet. Steve thanks for that, I'm hoping to hit it with some top coat later when I've smoothed the filler off.
Thanks for looking in Si. Today I managed to get the last parts undercoated and the canopy parts painted.
Thanks Peter, this build only confirms why I prefer armour and that's the joints on the fuselage. I can never get them right.
John I totally agree, I would have to spend the full 48 hours sat at my desk and even then I probably wouldn't finish.
Tony great to have you along as well, it is a great little model but it is out of my comfort zone as I prefer 1/48 or bigger.
It's now officially a wingy thing 😁
Thanks Jim and Steve. The paint has arrived today and I've finished work for 7 days so I'm hoping to progress.
