Hi Gary

Just had a very enjoyable catch up with your build. Your attention to detail is superb and I look forward to seeing the end result.

Evening Andy, you have been busy. My eyes are hurting just looking at the decals but a man of your calibre and skill should fly through them wink

John, Scottie and Steve, many thanks gents. I've got loads of ideas in my head its just a case now of translating them into reality. Once I get my night shifts out of the way I shall resume.

Thanks Peter, I've done some more work on the base and raised the tanks position by another thickness of foam card and made up a power supply pole. More to follow when I finish nights.

Hi Jimbo, thanks for having a look. Yes I did use the Eduard set on it, some nice little enhancements. I'll have another play with the composition again but like the crew positions

I've been playing about with the composition for the base. The story is Otto and a fellow tank commander are discussing the current situation before heading off to a meeting at HQ, meanwhile the rest of his crew take a break from rearming the tank. Behind is an abandoned farm outbuilding which requires its rusty corrugated roof. The Kubel is sat in the lane that runs past the farm while the tank has reversed off the track onto a slightly higher grassed area.

I've got to catch up on the next two parts but very good prog

I've just watched the first episode of a BBC2 documentary on the founding of the SAS. The programme title is SAS:Rogue Warrior. It has some great footage of them in North Africa working with the LRDG. There are three programmes available to watch.

Andy John and Peter, many thanks for the comments. I have managed to put some paint on the first face, but work has now put a hold on work.

Thanks John, I managed to get the edging done on the epaulettes before bad light stopped play.

Thought I'd try some paint on one of the figures. This will be one of Otto's fellow tank commanders. Alpine figure, just plucking up courage to start the head, faces, my nemesis 😥
