I find the best way is to sow them down run some cotton down over a link so it is hidden by the roadwheel and pull it tight then tie it off. It has always worked for me. I'm sure he other guys have a few good ideas as well.

​I presume from your description they are rubber tracks. The way I have done it in the past is to form the track where you want it bit by bit and secure with superglue. I am sure there are other ways as well and this is the place to find out.
