The Stalwart is out. I picked one up from Telford from Howard at Matador. I'd drop them a line if you want one. Also its not white metal anymore yes.

Just out of curiosity is anyone still going as a punter?

Thread: Milicast Models
22/08/2014 17:25:05

It is a shame but Tom needs to put his health first and his range won't disappear I suspect Jim his partner who does all of the casting might be filling his shoes either way it is a well established brand and suspect is worth a little bit of money. I spoke to him at length at Telford and he did say this was coming. I wish him well for the future and more holidays for himself.

Thread: D-Day, 6th June (Invasion to Breakout) Group Build...
27/06/2014 19:10:28

Nice scratchery Andy! yes

Graeme and Robin looking good guys although you've got a tight deadline...

Richard beautiful finish..

Update time:

Work continues on glazing and adding the last vehicle. I've had a change of mind with the last vehicle. I was going to include a Tilly but I've decided against it. The rag and bone man stays..The glazing and blending in together have all been completed.. I've finished a group build.. Yaaay!

I'll take some better photos during the day for the final gallery.

All the best.

18/06/2014 00:55:53

Andy superb work and a great tribute to our friend Johnny.

Robin it looks fantastic you have done a sterling job I think well done sirthumbs up

Update time:

i've fixed the vehicles to the base and after some playing around I've decided to leave off the rag and bone man and replace it with something a little smaller. The vehicles have been given a simple wash and filters as has the pub to start blending it all together. Hopefully the next update i'll have it almost finished. I need to decide on what else to add to the diorama...

More tomorrow.

Thread: The Cafe Gondree in 20mm scale...
12/06/2014 22:59:54

Hi Robin. Good to see this historical building being produced. I saw the pre production sample at a war gamers show. The farm buildings look really impressive. Im looking forward to seeing what you do with this.

Thread: D-Day, 6th June (Invasion to Breakout) Group Build...
12/06/2014 21:17:43

Nice work Robin! I'm looking forward to seeing it come together more. thumbs up

Update time:

I've been a little busy with work but I've managed to tidy up the road way a little bit and give it another coat of paint. I'm much happier with the way things look now.

Also I've managed to apply decals to two of the vehicles. The rag and bone mans car obviously will not need any.

Next update some weathering should appear..
