Hi Christos,

Good to see you mateylaugh

Well I’ve had a look and Clearly, you’ve forgotten to fit the turret, the loaders hatch is too far forward, it’s the wrong shade of dunkelgelb and I got a feeling that the tracks may be on backwardswink 2face 20.

I’d be happy with the sub tho to be proud ofbeer

Thread: Hello

Hi Johnnie,

Welcome to the forum.

Some good advice given to me when I started out was to go with Tamiya kits in 1 35 scale. The older kits can be brought for pennies in most cases through eBay, Amazon and various online model retailers and are mostly easy to build and great to practice your building, painting skills with.

I’d leave the resin experience until you’ve got the hang of it maybe?

Hope this helps

Good Evening Allen,

Nice to see you back at the bench with a rather unusual project. Great startthumbs up

Seen one or two documentaries about the V1-2, but particularly remember seeing one tipping over on the launch Stand and exploding in a huge fireball smile o

Let’s keep our fingers crossed we don’t see that at your bench....although anything is possible with you sir face 20

Thread: Issues with Gloss Varnish
04/03/2018 21:35:05

Hi Steve,

I’ve Always used Vj satin/gloss varnish before oils.

Have done for a few years now. I do several thinned coats and barely leave it to dry between coats.

Can’t say I’ve ever had an issue?

I use Tamiya clear with every paint job....I mix it in with my Tamiya paints to get a nice smooth coat but never used it neat as I read once it can go frosty?

I’ll see about testing that.....I’ve got a couple of kits built that I could try it on....
