Evening chaps,

Some cracking stuff being finished, nice pair of Spitfires and a Hurricane, the BP Defiant, and lots of progress on many varied builds.

Apologies, am a bit behind on the Sea King, and may not make progress until early March, but will catch back the lost time.

Evening all,

A quick update:-

Interior near completion, roof engine controls for office to be fitted, and a seat next to electrical cabinet, then ready to prepare body halves

Progressing slowly, will update on this main blog.

Keep up the good work chaps

Afternoon chaps,

Well tally-ho, chocks away and all that, have started on the Sea King, working on the office.

Still debating to paint this in the S&R yellow, not found the squadron badge yet, but this aircraft, XZ597, in its final tour was with 22 Sqn, C flight at RAF Valley, and was flown by HRH Prince William, Duke of Cambridge. So still debating, but edging towards it.

Anyway, progress:-

Working on the seats now, also have the electronic cabinet in the PE set, so will put that in.

Some varied and cracking builds here, a very busy GB, doing the site and the RAF100 proud, a solid performance boys!

PS G.C. Race you are doing an awesome job!

Afternoon Chaps,

GC Race, reporting for duty, Sir.

Here is my contribution, arrived this morning, a re-release from Hasegawa in 1:48, one of my all time favourites.

If I can find 1:48 22Squadron markings will do the Yellow Bird version, if not then box markings.

Office 'bling' arrives tomorrow.

Permission to carry on, Sir?

PS will blog separately with the odd update on main page.

Afternoon chaps,

Will be along shortly, subject chosen and will be delivered next week. A subject very close to my heart, but a timely re-release has brightened up the sky.

Will confirm 'on landing' through letter box. I have a Plan B if it does go wrong!

Good luck JR, nice selections coming through.

Go for it John, I am sure you will get good support and advice, as Graeme says, plenty of people to ask for advice or guidance, and I am sure you are well up to the task.

I have a couple of options for this one, so will have a ponder.

PS, hope Andy is ok and will be mixing it with us soon, had the pleasure of meeting him once, so all best wishes to him.

Hi All,

Nice thread Dave, and some stunning entries so far.

This was my favourite, Tamiya's 1:48 F14 Tomcat, really enjoyed building it, but the moulding quality was very impressive, really took me by surprise as I did not use any filler whatsoever:-

Cheers and Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year to all.
