Hi all!

This new release from Stu at Stormtroopers is....

PPST20 King of Souvenirs, John "Barney" Hines 45th Battalion ,AIF 1917

After a few days of work I'm here...

Here's the Grey I did for the black and white box art and which was on display at Euro

I'm really enjoying this bust as the sculpt is very tight and fun to paint. I'm also enjoying the research about a very particular kind of soldier, always in trouble but almost foolhardy in his bravery.

Of course this sculpt is from this very famous photograph called "Wild Eye, souvenir King"

Update soon

Absolutely stunning work ! The figure itself is full of character and the treatment of the colours is spot on. Superb thumbs up

Very nice indeed, I like the grey too. On the sculpt like how the lines all radiate out from between the eyes, you have really brought that out

Superb work! The flesh tones are very subtly done, yet cover the spectrum perfectly, incredible. Same for the eyes.

Nice to see the painting you are doing on such an evocative subject and also to put a nema to the face.I'll google this shortly to see what information i can find.

I'll be getting this bust as it is such a good idea.
