Berkley Bear finally snapped at all the children ignoring his 'keep off' signs.

(You'll only get this if you've been to the Ulster Transport Museum)

Good one, Richard! Because the actual Hundred Acre Wood is not far from my house, and a tank was found buried in it (the Wood, not my house) a few years ago.

Cheers, John

Hi John...really, you live near Ashdown Forest? Any where near Hartfield where A A Milne stayed?

Parents got me a whole set of books but was more interested in plastic modelling. Never got to read them but got to know more about Winnie the Pooh via the Disney series my daughter watched over and over again.

Cheers,

Richard

A few miles away, Richard. I'm in East Grinstead and often drive through the Forest. Though for some reason I've never visited Pooh Bridge.

Cheers, John

Hi Everyone

Some wonderful replies to the teddy bear photo.yesface 20

For those of you who are interested the "Cosselbär” (Cossel Bear) was the name of a teddy bear mascot of I.Abteilung / Panzer-Regiment 35 / 4. Panzer-Division leadership of Major Hans-Detloff von Cossel The battalion was dubbed the “Baren Abteilung” (Bear Battalion) and had the bear logo on each of their Panzers. The above photos were taken in Lgov (Russia) Winter 1943.
