One Hansen man:

001.jpg002.jpg003.jpg004.jpg

This definitely looks better in the photos! Because I couldn't get the original paint off, there are some rough areas which I find hard to live with, but I'll put him in the cabinet and see how I feel about him in a couple of days time.

I've also put him on a temporary base, as I intend to attempt one more figure for this vignette before deciding on how they'll be arranged.

Peter.

The 'rough areas' are well hidden - all we see is your excellent paintwork!

Andy, Ev and Steve - many thanks.

There was a particularly bright and raking light in the kitchen this morning!

Peter.

(By the way Ev, reading Patrick White's The Tree of Man at the moment and trying to do the accent).

David - oh, the rough spots are there all right. Many thanks for taking the time to comment.

John - 12.04pm and still in bed? The life of Reilly eh?

Yes, really good to see so many new people joining and the older ones full of mojo. The small scale GB seems to have caught everyone's imagination and there's some great stuff appearing there.

And please do post, even just to say hello. I can see the viewing count going up, so I know people are looking, but it's nice to have a bit of contact.

Peter.

Hi Peter

One of your best. A lot of fabric layers and folds to cope with and as usual your rendition is perfect.
