Thanks Steve,, please do share what blog I can view your Horch...I'd love to see it...

Some further details and weathering pics above,, now the saw is in place on its side mounted rack and on the opposite side a water container also added the chain for the tow hitch

Still have not made a decision on adding tie downs for the soft top??

Joe ,

Nice finish .as for mud guards/flaps /I ve read of tarp being used and later it was covered in a rubber solution. A guy in the USA at the start of ww2 at a military base came up with the Idea of usings a piece of tarp , mainly to stop stones and mud from being thrown up at the following vehicles. I would have thought that rubber was in short supply anyway , so pehaps the Germans used the same method . HTHs
