It was back in the summer that Stefan visited the Auto & Technik Museum at Sinsheim, and kindly sent through hundreds of photos he had taken. It has taken me months to go through them, resize them and load them up into albums onto the site, doing a bit at a time. But I was determined to get it finished before I take my leave. Hence it has taken ages but there are hundreds of pictures in these albums and some great detail on a whole variety of subject, including AFVs, aircraft, softskins, trains, artillery, uniforms and more. Lots to look through, but well worth it.smile othumbs up

Thanks to Stafan for sharing them with us. beer

Stefan & Robin,

I've only just skimmed through this and would like to thank both of you for the considerable time and effort put in by both of you ...

Also, having checked out the AA Route Planner I've discovered it's "only" some 350km (or 4 hours) from me here in Zug, Switzerland. So all I need to do now is persuade SWMBO that she wants to visit Heidelberg sometime soon for a long weekend !!

As to the "no limit" autobahns - I was on one in 2015 and yes, it's highly scary to be doing 150kph only to be overtaken by something doing the speed of light ...

Cheers - Steve

Steve,

go ahead. If you need any special requests, Mr Boeuf is handling them, in case you want special permissions or so. Sadly, almost 70% is limited to 80-130 now on the A5, gone are the days to go 220+ on CC . Anyway, good luck with your Heidelberg idea, or stay in or around Speyer and enjoy the local wines and wellness stuff (might help convincing).

/Stefan
