I have that book too John- there are some fabulous builds in there, don't you think? That & the Images of War Abrams volume are my first refs when I start thinking about another Abrams build. Love the look of the Meng AIM too- hurry up and start blogging it!

Yes the book is great. Got my mk10 chieftain to finish first if I can summon up the mojo. Think I'm.going to have to sort through all my kits and sell a few as have far more than I'll ever have the time to build.

Another parcel that failed to get past the missus.
This little beauty from Flyhawk, had heard good things regarding there WW2 stuff so bought this as soon as i saw it available.
Really fine details& looking like other versions on the way. Kit includes PE and clear sprue for periscopes etc
The hull makes up from flat pack with internal braces to keep it square.
You can just make out the anti-slip texture moulded on the kit.
Bottom of the box has 4 of the marking options printed on it,the other is in Nato camo in the instruction booklet.
The build steps are all colour coded so no mistakes as what goes where. All in all this looks like the best small scale M1A2 sep kit out there and i for one hope they release other versions.

John - that looks lovely. i have on of their PZII variants half finished somewhere, very impressed with flyhawk i must say.
I have started to ponder wingy things now that i know which end of a windystick is which. Ordered this from Ozzy Ebay (apparently ships from the UK but is in actual fact from Hong Kong!):
Awesome looking beastie - and it actually existed and flew!! Was a bit nervous as this is 'limited run' but very impressed with the moulding, just a bit of flash and the odd heavy detail. Comes with etch for seat belts and two sided instrument panels with a acetate insert.
Valom do some interesting subjects so depending on how this goes i may be buying more in the future

Another Bike Andy you must BMAD ? Get it ??
Sorry to the uninitiated local South Devon Humour ? as there is a weekly meeting of up to 1000, Motorbikes from May to September on the Sea front in Paignton (Torbay ) , called "Bikers Make A Difference" hence BMAD and they raise thousands of money for charities .
I've even seen military Harleys turn up in the past.
