Hi Jim

I have every confidence that you will resist all thoughts of 'too difficult' and see it through. Canopy is almost there. A most fascinating blog thumbs up

By the way - How do you heat the clear sheet to go over the mold?

img_6197.jpgThanks Jim! I'm feeling back on track. Doing the exhausts right is going to work out . Right now just waiting for the MS to cure, but the sculpting went pretty well. I bought a really small engraving bit for the Dremel and did the gun channels. Added a coat of primer to check where I am. And in the end of building I did cast another canopy and my new approach works great.

Well done for sticking at this, and like the others, I know you will pull this off (needless to say, the bin would have been my choice long ago - I have no stamina, and am particularly bad at sleeping on things).

Canopy and exhausts (versions 2.0) added today. I think I'm onto wings 2.0 now, then horizontal tail pieces, prop blades, landing gear and the external fuel tank . Green lights ahead!

And we're done. Scratch build #4 in the books and my first completed group build. Got home at 4:00 yesterday and hammered out the last 8 hours into it. Bleary eyed at midnight to say the least. Unlike the 100+ hour mega F-4J and the P-3C projects, this was perhaps just 30. I think I have some time before the FFG-7 arrives from the UK. I'm thinking ME-262.
