Well done Peter! and I'm sure that a few more ammo boxes to keep Mr C happy is well within your talents. (Mr C has had the pleasure of firing these things and knows a lot more than we do.)

HIYA Peter.

Just dropped by again.Im absolutely blown away by your Matilda diorama. When i look closely at the tones and textures you have created it realy pops out everything from the tank to the landscape you created.Really looks dusty,Sandy and warm climate.Simply amazing indeed.

Excellent Mr D!!!!.

Richard

Andy C - I'll see what I can do - bit out of mojo with this one at the moment.

Jim - Thank you. I feel we do have to be honest about what we're depicting here, but I think the subject of death in war has to be approached with sensitivity. I felt that the two dead MB Germans were well done and not explotative. No, I've never given my dios name-plates as I don't exhibit them - I know what they are, and the family aren't interested!

Andy B - Thanks, and see above re the ammo boxes.

Peter.

Thank you Richard.

i did worry at first that it was a bit monotone, then I realised that was the point - everything covered in the same sand and dust so that it merges with the landscape. I used Vallejo German Camo Beige as a base for everything and just varied the tones.

Peter.

Excellent Peter,

It's a very striking diorama! The action and tension has been captured brilliantly. I've enjoyed every update..

Another faultless project Peter, and thank you for the updates through to completion. What's next on the horizon?

Ev - Thank you.

Wayne - Thanks also. I'm going to do another Shenanigans involving a Kettenkrad, Goliath and some assault pioneers......

Peter.

Funny enough I was looking at the Kettenkrad after seeing Saving Private Ryan again, however it was going for crazy prices on ebay......that said, it must have recently been re-released as you can find it for a tenner almost everywhere now

Hi Wayne

It's actually the 1/48 version:

I've done a few 1/48 scale things in the past, but I think this is going to be tiny. What was I thinking?

Peter.
