Good evening Comrades,

So as promised, I've been getting the tail section together.

Going to have to invest in a lot of masking tape I think...

ACW as usual.

Hi John,

In the region of 22"nose to tail; it will be a fraction longer once the refueling probe is fitted.

Still gluing and sanding on the tail section so not much to show but progress is steady.

Welcome Richard, yes a big girl indeed.

A big step forward tonight.... After just over twenty years of procrastination. The nose section is fitted.teeth 2

Currently got her propped vertically on the sofa until it sets.

Morning chaps,

It worked.face 23 Assembly is nice and strong so I've just got to apply a smidge of filler and then get her ready for painting.

No need for priming this, just a gentle rub down of the existing paintwork before I mask up. I'm painting the tail surfaces separately for ease of masking.

More later with any luck.teeth 2

Andy

Very neat looking build of this golden oldie. Looking forward to the paint job and good luck with the masking.

Cheers Simon, ashamed to say it is NOT the oldest build in the pile... Maybe this year I can draw some to a close.

Thanks John, covered in dust as we speak as I do the pre-top coat rub down.
