Hi chaps.
Well the wanderer returns once more from the Wilderness. My first love Afv terms is the Leopard 1 tank.I loved this tank when as a 12 year old i recieved a made up Italeri kit as a present.I loved this tank and when i got really into armour in late teens i bought the Verlinden way volume 2 when i was in college c 1985.I must have around a dozen Italeri kits of the leopard 1 and this kit was a limited release by Mbk in Germany before Italeri reissued this kit when Meng and Takom released their kits in the past few years.I really like this grey plastic and my 1a5 Italeri kits also have this grey pladtic which is nice to work with.Ive done a fair bit of superdetailing on this kitty with Eduard etch sets and added items made by myself.Im not a fan of etch sets and i hold my hands up in admiration to those who enjoy using etch sets. Thanks for looking in and id love to have some feedback from gents.Regards to you all from Richard.

Hi Richard,

I too like the look of the earlier leopard, for me it had more character. Your off to a great start.

Hi Richard,

Great start on your leopard! I was a Trooper in the RAAC many years ago and saw Leopard 1A4's (AS1) demonstrate the destructive power of the L7 gun. They served for 30 years in the Australian Army.... German efficacy!

An iconic build to come back with. Will take a seat with the rest of the guys. Good luck
