Thanks very much for the advice. I will investigate the Revell glue and try pva (does it stay put when you pull the masking tape off with the latter?)

Did a bit of brush work tonight; more planned tomorrow.

Cheers.

Ref. nose weight, I stuffed the spaces around the cockpit interior and the jet intake running into the fuselage with Milliput.

After the Seahawk nightmare, I wasn't getting caught again.

So, this has the covers over the intake and exhaust, neither of which aligned well anyway.

Hey Dave, although I didnt post anything during your build, I was lurking in the shadows.
You did some nice work with the kit!
Have you started on those decals yet?

Thanks.

Not yet, I want to finish the basic colours first, add a coat of satin varnish, wash it, then the decals.

Followed by Matt varnish x2 and it's done.

Will post pics when there's visible progress.

Cheers.

One coat of very thin satin varnish applied, now that the flat colours are on.

Should've been two coats tonight, but it's been a shite week and I couldn't be bothered. Abbot Ale and two large Courvoisiers instead.

Maybe a change of career is sensible.

Will progress the Sabre tomorrow.

Hope the Lions get a result in the morning.
