Evening gents- been having a few issues with my internet of late (it was down for most of last week), and SWMBO has been cracking the whip over finishing off the patio, but I've got a little more donesmile d

First though, the roll call...

Jim- many thanks mate! It's rather fun scratching in tiny scale, isn't it? nerd

Robin- I'm cheating even harder than you by not botheringface 20

Steve- you're too kind sir! face 23

John- thanks mate- I look forward to the Meng A1 toothumbs up

Si- face 20thumbs up

So...I got an evening or two in, and primed it one night, before using my Meng modern US colours to spray the thing the next. I used all three shades of desert tan, starting with the shadow for behind the running gear and lower hull, through the normal shade for the hull & turret, finally using the lightened shade sprayed from above. A bit of detail painting followed, but there's plenty left to do:

Oh...ok then, I can't scroll through my albums to select the right pics...oh, fixed now! face 22

John- no, not this time. I had a hunt online for some 1/72 crew, but I didn't much like the look of what was available. This will be a standalone vehicle. Glad you like it so far!thumbs up

I carried on detail-painting & added some anti-laser periscope stickers cut from the excess on my AFV club Stryker set. I then added one of the 2 sets of decals that came with the kit. I liked the "Bad Attitude" stencils, so went with that one:

Found a fix for the album problem- renamed the album with quotation marks, so it appears at the top of the list, so I don't have to try and scroll through all my albums to access it. Still a problem though...dont know

After an evening spent pin-washing & dry-brushing the Piglet, and adding a couple of antennae from .009" guitar string, I think I can call this one finished! party Here be photos:

Finally, a cheeky comparison with it's Big Brother, War Pig:

I thoroughly enjoyed this little mojo-booster of a build, and I may have to do a bit more Braille scale stuff in future (it certainly takes up less shelf space!)nerd Thanks to everyone who checked in and offered their support as I felt my way back into bench time again...

Evening Alistair,

Thats a very nice result on the 'war piglet'....has turned out really well. These Revell kits are great OOB but can really shine with a tweak here and there, like you've demonstrated brilliantlythumbs up
