Thanks guys.

They are 10mm, representing Scots Government troops in the 1640s.

Hi Cam

They look really good. Nice variety of troop types, look great en mass. Flags look great as well. Are they on Kallistra terrain hexes? If so, what do you think of them?

Cheers

Tim

Cheers guys.

Tim, yes Kallistra. Just about to use them for the first time in a 'serious' game. Thoughts so far:

Good quality.

Setting up takes a lot longer than using mats or boards.

Best used on a non-slip surface, the undersides of the boards have no grip qualities.

The clips holding the assembly together are OK but still tends to fall apart when turning it over.

Minimal storage.

Choice of surface could be difficult. I chose the 'desert transition' as half my armies are for arid or desert, the other half for temperate or tropical.

My main reason for going in the hex direction was to get away from measuring movement and range distances, It's all in hexes now. I find it easier to visualise.
