Peter.

I thought deep gloom at first, but upon reading Keith's ideas I really think he has something there.

Such a shame as it looked so good. Hope it works out, keep us posted.

John.

Any more info on the figures used would be welcome. Hope you can sort the resin issues as it's a great looking vignette.

Guys - thanks for e moral support.

Keith - thanks for the advice, I will give it a couple of weeks and then give it a go.

Regarding the figures, they are both heavy conversions. The sailor is a hornet head, hands and boots from the bits box and A&B putty over a wire armature. The soldier is from the bits box, a mixture of Dragon or Tamiya harms and legs, with a hornet head. all the equipment is Tamiya.

Sorry to hear about your trials and tribulations. I do hope you manage to resolve the issue. I had not seen your first picture before. Very nice indeed

Hi Steve

Thanks for the words of support.

Highs and lows - they are all part of modelling, even if I cannot fix it at least I had a lot of fun - but it would be nicer to fix it so fingers' crossed in a couple of weeks when I give it a go ...

Peter,

Heads up and go for it. I think it's solvable...with hindsight you won't rush it this time.

Cheers,

Richard
