Evening Graeme,

No Sir, we are the can of worms. It's in our blood as Moggellers really. We buy and plan and build and buy and plan and build. Sort of a vicious cycle. A new idea comes and the old build is put on hold. Is there a cure??? Not that I know of. Thanks for reminding us that we are human and now I guess we should hit the bench and finish these puppies...or at least try (before the next idea comes along)!!!!

Prost

Hey Robin,

That is a cute little model tank! I guess they are supposed to be for kids, but I'd certainly like to make one!

Thanks for sharing that, I didn't know those were being made.

Robin, nice little Tiger (cub?)

Allen, I think you have very good point, probably explains why I have so many kits in the stash!disgust

Anyway, some progress to report,

dsc07827 (1024x680).jpg

Challenger 1, the first base coat is on, next job is to paint the tyres & tracks before attaching them to the hull & putting on the armour covering them.

dsc07826 (1024x680).jpg

The Crusader AA has had it's matt coat, the wheels put on, the friul tracks are made up. Next jobs, blackening the tracks & painting a couple of bits of stowage.

dsc07823 (1024x680).jpg

Panzer III ausf N, primer & pre shaded, base coat to do!

How about the rest of you? This thread is giving me a bit of motivation to finish some builds, no progress on the DUKW though & I'm looking in the stash, thinking what to do next........disgust

Great progress Graeme,

I wish I could report the same. Due to work and life, I haven´t gotten anywhere yet. Mojo is great and like you, too many kits in the stash, each one with a new idea...

Now Sir, please repeat after me, "Don´t look in the stash, Don´t look in the stash". Keep repeating until the urge passes.

HTHs...

Prost

Hi Graeme,

Good to see some progress occurring somewhere. I had many good intentions this weekend to crack on but again a family conspiracy kept me from the bench. Work should ease this week unless Storm/Hurricane Maria decides to wreak havoc and I get called in again...I WILL get some stuff done this week...

Allen has the right idea..."Don't look in the stash, Don't look in the stash, Don't look in the stash, Don't look in the stash, Don't look in the stash, Don't look in the stash, Don't look in the stash, Don't look in the stash"

Keep up the good work.

Andy

Allen, Andy, thanks for the encouragement & advice. Don't look in the stash, don't look in the stash, I had a look earlier, but I think I got away with it. Oh, hang on, the engineering vehicle GB starts next month and there's a Bergepanther & a Scammel in the stash......thinking

And I thought I was bad!

I have two 1/72 armors (Tiger I and M3 halftrack), three 1/72 planes (Swordfish, Tiger Moth trainer, and I don't even remember what the fighter is!), and a 1/35 Bren carrier sitting started yet uncompleted.

I just showed the wife the pic of the 'attic insulation', so at least I have a ways to go yet!

Kevin, you are not alone, welcome to the modellers self help group.disgust

A bit more progress, despite a few things taking up time.

dsc07829 (1024x680).jpg

Challenger 1 is assembled & the base coat of paint done.

dsc07832 (1024x680).jpg

Panzer III has it's first base coat on, wheels to paint & tracks to sort next.

Graeme.
