It will improve, but for now even looking at screens is rather painful.

Thank you all for your messages.

My sympathies Simon. As another with dodgy eyes, I feel your pain. Hope all goes well.

Thank you Peter

It's a bit like death by a thousand cuts...

Almost exactly a year ago I had a blackout and wrote off one of our cars, then two of our dogs getting diagnosed with terminal illnesses - both hanging in there BTW - and followed by my Father in law passing away but leaving his daughters with a financial crisis to deal with that cost me a considerable amount.

All of which has not helped my health, or my mood.

Visiting this site has been one of the more enjoyable aspects of life, especially when you consider just how vile people can be on what's laughably called Social Media.

Do not give in, just give it time, get your health sorted first, the dogs are where they are and what will happen will. I lost my dog last year and that really broke me up, but there is now a new one in the family, has not taken away the loss, but she is helping.

So you keep in there, even if you are unable to model at the moment, your advice, critisism and a good grief what did you do there will keep the rest of us on our toeswink 2.

Cheers, Mike.

Nihil illegitemi carborandum, Simon. It took months for my eyes to recover from cataract operations, too.

Cheers, John

I'm sorry to hear of your trials and tribulations in 2017, Simon. I missed being able to catch up with you at Telford. If my patients' experience is anything to go by, you will find the improvement in your vision a few weeks after you have your cataracts repaired is remarkable. So you have that to look forward to at least.

Take care ol' pal - you are in my thoughts.

Thank you all.

But especially to you John, because I wasn't fully awake when I read the first bit in Latin and thought I was having a stroke or something.

Cheers mate
