Jim Thanks for looking in and glad the wip shots are of interest.

Steve You're very kind thanks

Gibson now has his shirt and jacket on, and I have started his boots. I hate doing boots and still more to do.

Also need to add a turn up on his pants, then make a start on his arms.

Fantastic work John. Has all of the character that makes this another signature piece.

I agree with Peters thoughts entirely.

You do have a great skill , to watch it grow from a wire armature to a fully painted sculpt is marvelous.

Peter and John Many thanks chaps your encouragement helps a lot.

Guy Gibson is now almost done. I just have a little clean up, some stripes on his right shoulder tab and a button to add. I have sculpted his right hand attached to the dog. I will only make this joint to his arm after the major painting is done..

Badges and small decorations are done in green stuff since this is very firm and holds small detail very well.

Next will be on to Mr Wallace.

Looking very good you make this sculpting malarkey look easy.

Andrew Thanks very much and congrasts on the success of your WW1 stuff. Richly deserved.

Thanks Peter

Scottie Not as easy as you make the dio building malarkey look.

So it was time for Mr Wallace to make an appearance. Still looking a little emaciated but slowly putting on weight. Face is a little rough, (that is definitely not up to Peter D's requirements) but there is a bit of a likeness so I am not too unhappy with it.
