well I started on the patch, wow that's small .I finished it and then hit it with anti-shine and then it dulled it down way to much for me. I might go back and try it again but who knows . see what you think fella's

Nice one Rick. Good job on the badges. I particularly like his hair. I do think you could add more tones to his face to add definition but that's just me. Bravo

John thank you for your kind words. to be honest I agree with you on the face but I was worried if I keep it up I would mess it up so I stopped lol. I seem to do that all the time tone it down to almost the same colors argh. but working on it .

Today I worked on the head set when I broke the ear holders off. I set out to make my own so I cleaned the headset up took off the arms ,made some out of wire I liked the end results so I painted them.

Here is the end product.

Very fine work Rick, well done. The webbing in particular looks real.

The skin tone thing is really difficult. I always start out intending to do a high contrast, multi coloured job, but end up overpainting everything. I think it's about holding your nerve and not panicking in the early stages, which I do every time unfortunately.

Hi Rick

Looking great and some very fiddly bits to cope with.

Peter,      thanks again with your comments  I like what you said about the faces and going to try on my next face to do just that.

Jimbo       yes they were very small and I needed three hands sometimes to hold and glue. Other than the base I am calling this on done .I finished the backpack and glued it in place.      I enjoyed building this kit and look forward to my next modern soldier.
