Since we don't get to spend much time together these days, I suggested a visit to the Armor Museum at APG. Well today he and I went up along with my four year old grandson. What a wonderful day. After a huge breakfast at the local Golden Corral, we headed up. The weather was great. I was happy to see that they had been very busy with their re-conditioning projects as there were many more finished vehicles lining the road to the museum than the last time I had gone. Once on the grounds my son and grandson were in awe of the numbers of vehicles. My grandson, of course, wanted to ride the tanks and "waser" people. (Yes, he's a Star Wars fan!.) Since I have been there many times I let my son do most of the gazing as I kept an eye on the little guy. I did manage to take a few pics. A couple are below and more in my gallery in the APG album, if anyone wants to take a look. |
