Blog to Feature

A New long running competition that anybody can enter!

If you've ever thought that you might like to start writing feature articles, then this month we're beginning a new regular competition that could be just for you!

Each month...in exactly the same way as we do for PHOTO FEATURES...we'll take each of the articles published by out members and let the other members vote on which one is the BEST!It will be a completely separate competition from the PHOTO FEATURES...so you have the chance of winning the 12 month magazine subscription in that competition...AND a chance to win this one too!

So how will it work?

Simply zip up the pics for your article, with a simple WORD document containing the text, and mail it to me at 

vinnie@militarymodelling.com

What can I write an article on?

Well, there are different things you could do for this.  You might want to write an artcile on how you apply Zimmerit, or how you cope with some other difficult technique.  You might want to write a feature on a diorama you've built...or a day out you've had at a Museum...or even a feature on your local hobby store!

But here's another possibilty.  You might have already written a blog for this site in the Blog forum.  You could take all the text you posted during the blog, cut out other people's comments and reconstruct your own text into a feature article. This has the advantage of all the photo's you need - already being on the site!

All you'd have to do then is send me a link to the gallery where the images are, your Word document with the new text, and you're off!

So to sum up...You can submit your own brand new feature article, OR construct one from a blog you've already written on this site.  You can do that even if your model has ALREADY been used as a PHOTO FEATURE!

This months prize?  We have a Tamiya 1/48th kit of the Jagdpanther, in a plain white box, signed by Mr S.Tamiya himself up for grabs!
