Hi Craig,
I'll be interested to see how this one treats you, or you it. I built the original incarnation in what was it, 1994, or thereabouts? Definitely not Dragon or Tamiya, but I am sure that you can handle it, though you might need some aftermarket help here and there...

Cheers for the interest guys. Thanks for the pics Robin i think its a G but the camo will be a great help.
 
Right then i have been doing some homework and will be borrowing heavily from Michael Tabones excellent blog of the same subject and also be using this book as well

So on with the sprues. These are all molded in yellow styrene and in all fairness look very nice and clean no flash and the attachment points do not look overly thick.

Although there is a little nic out of the hub of this wheel. No biggie though.


 

And the instructions, very easy to follow in Italeri's style. There are 17 steps all logically laid out.
 

So thats the box contents and tomorrow is Zim time on the lower hull  Hope you will join me.
