690 forum posts 409 photos | Hey Adam,
Seems like an ambitious project buddy, but knowing you you'll probably have this finished even before I close the book on my little Stug scene
![]() Mixing figures from different brands always is a bit hit-and-miss if you ask me.......... I suppose 1:35 isn't the same all over the globe
For instance, put a Tristar figure next to a Master Box one............ David and Goliath ! Then again, real people come in all shapes and sizes, so I guess it shouldn't matter that much.
Cheers,

~Mich ~~ ! Glad you're back. Feeling better I hope?

This is somewhat ambitious, but well within my power and in direct line with my previous builds. If completely successful, even better than the rest ! As far as the time factor goes~~ this is likely to be a 4 month project or so (will your little stug Dio be done by then??

NO kidding it's difficult. I'm prepared to allow for human size differences. BUT, In Asia they seem(to me) to have an entirely different view of the dimmensions of a human in general. I'm sure that modelers in Asia say something similar about the Western model manufacturers. Something like " Warrriors and Verlinden selling undersized 54mm as 1/35 and the dummies(ME) are buying them!!HaHAhA!!""" But really DML & Tamiya figures are the smallest 1/35 out there(except for Tristar(Chinese) which are tiny!Alpine by the way fit in with them(better propotioned though) Masterbox,TANK(Russian), and Platoon(Spanish) seem to fit in the middle and go well with either group.
~~But yeah- 1/35 is not interpeted the same at all by different model companies.

7359 forum posts 6135 photos | ~Chris ~ ahhhmm, just gettin started Buddy ~ Many projects in one ~you know.
My fieldpiece is built, and I added just a few modifications, namely, empty strap for the shovel, as I thought it would be in use Added a few bullet dings to the shield while I was there. Most pix of the Pak40 show shovel missing*mine wil be nearby in the dirt)~ See for example on the pak40 Robin recently photo'ed
And on another one
I really fancy that Camo! It may have some infuence on my paintjob(perhaps a gun being sent to Italy was re-directed to theatre?)Sounds like a likely story to me....eh?See here
Just some tiny bits of styrene rod
Question : Can anyone identify this piece of gear for me :
Almost forgot, filled these injector dings (hadn't seen this pointed out before, and not likely to be seen after placement, but to play it safe.....
I also added a screw to fix the gun to the carriage, not just for removale for painting, but so I can adjust the gun's aiming point at final placement
Not many injector pings, and NO flash or parting lines in the kit, just lots of pour 'nodes' to removed(aybe 300 of them !) Nice to build a kit without parting lines !!! There we have The Dragon Pak 40

~ & thanks to you too Tom ~ But ah, you mis-read something, friend ~ I'm in The States !
I know that I tend to write in a most proper mannor (although I'm guilty of mis-spells & type-O's often enough) I assure you I am 100% Dam Yank I just possess an above average vocaulary and have beautful meter & diction (for an American particularly)
