News now from a new manufacturer on me, Vision Models from Taiwan.  Thanks to Bronco Models for passing on this news.  I don''t know who will be importing this one into the UK at present, but I''m sure it will be and is worth looking out for in the shops.  The BA-64B is the later model of this Russian light armoured recce car.

Robin,

This looks an interesting little model.

I remember the article in Military Modelling converting the Tamiya model of the GAZ Truck to this armoured car. I know one thing, it wasn't as detailed as this model!

Hi Robin,
I remember seeing this vehicle in the Moscow museum. They are very small ! Should be a nice little kit and its an unusual subject.

Interesting little kit, this could be a manufacturer to keep an eye on for the future.

Looks like it could be an welcome addition to the Market. It will be interesting to see this one built.

It looks very good indeed from those sprue shots and it should be a nice quick build, I'm going to grab myself one of those when they're released

Hi all,

Having built this one, here are some pictures of the (almost) final result.  Only after taking the pictures did I really notice the silvering on the transfers, so I need to go back to thsoe and try to solve it with some matt varnish if I can.  Overall it built up really neatly.  There is seat and driving wheel inside, though the engine compartment looks very 'empty' so maybe a chance for a resin accessory set from someone here.  You could also model the 2 side doors open.

Worth looking out for I think.

Robin
