I'm in--sounds like there's plenty to be learnt here. May come in handy...I plan to build one(ONE!) of these.

Hi bill.
I've built a few of these kits myself and the dragon/CH offerings are the best tiger kits on the market i'd also go as far to say that the early dragon and CH kits were some of the best 1/35 kits ever made.I will be looking forward to seeing the Fehrmann kit blogged will you be using the cyber hobby kit

Hi John; I suspect there may be some overlap, but they will be piece by piece.  I am aiming to complete by the end of 2010; after all Tigers don't have Schurzen...do they?  He he...I'll try not to hit any Tigers on their bottoms during the blog.

Dan; I have the Aber Pz III turret bin, but might use that for a Panzer III.  With the mirror tracks I was thinking of doing a turretless 6252; waddaya think?  Your lucky day; I have 2x6252 to build - the latter will be beefed up somewhat (Andy; I hope your offer of those hull sides still stands  ).  thanks for the link Dan - I suspect I will be using it a lot for reference.  BTW the other book that I am using is Achtung Panzer (?5)- the Japanese Tiger reference book.  Utterly ace!  Dan; if you are keen I might have a go at soldering the Pz III turret bin if it is compatible with the mirror tracks and Abt 502 in Autumn 1942.  ?

Hi Dave; yup - big Cat Diary to be sure.  Hang on to yer hat there, Cowboy - it'll be a crack!

Hi AK; nice to have you on board.  I like that huge smiley thing.

Tony; great.  Like I said; any advice would be appreciated along the way.

Pvt Farnham; stand at ease there, son.  We've a long ways to go yet.

Hello Neil!  Yes; I have TWO duplicates on this thread - the 6252 (initial and late junk-hybrid) and CH Fehrmann; to be built as Fehrmann with Voyager 127 PE set or Lion Roar PE set for 'early' and CH Fehrmann to be backdated to 'Classic Early' with (wait for it):

* Karaya Early tracks
* Voyager 127 PE set
* Voyager PE turret bin
* RB Models barrel
* Aber antenna
* Aber MG34's; radio-op & co-axial
* Either (*GASP*) Dragon early style wheels or Model Kasten Early Tiger 1 wheel set
* Dragon early sprocket wheels (woo!)
* (*DOUBLE GASP*) Voyager resin Feifel & plumbing (double woo!)
* Griffon S-mine launchers

Top that!

(This one is going to be the zenith of the blog IMHO).

Sorry, strayed in as a newbie from wingystuff to TARGETS.   Adding this as I like Tigers.  How many at once??!!  Seems to be serious business with the add ons.

Will, with your permission, keep an eye.  Always looking to learn.  Plus, do actually have a Tiger lurking in the stash between Phantoms!

Thanks for sharing.
