Sgt Barnes from Platoon!

Hi Guys,

 

Well with the first Figure World show coming up i thought id start this one for it.

 

It's the Bravo6 figure that looks alot like the Sgt  Barnes character played by Tom Berenger.

 

The detail is amazing and the casting is although a little rough in places is pretty good and easily cleaned up. (even down to the scar on the guys face)

 

Hi Ian, I'm really looking forward to seeing what you make of this one, the casting DOES look top-notch and definitely Berenger-like!

 

And it will be interesting to see how you tackle whatever he's stood in!!!  LOL

Dick, the casting detail is on the ball some of the best ive ever seen. I have a couple more of the Bravo6 figures on order so i may be "going back nam" for a couple of projects. He's stood in blu tac at the mo not a good look.

great figure i have looked at all the ones they do from platoon and would love to get the whole set of them as i love the film so much. but at their price my figure painting skils would not do them justice. cant wait to see the evil barnes come to life

Alright Ian  I've got him in my stash too amongst Ra and a few others.... Bravo 6 seem to have some really cool figures out at the moment especially the Tet 68 series I'm keen to see what you do with him mate. More Nam stuff is cool too! Are you going to put him on a wedgie?

Jaymes, The 68 stuff is outstanding, i've got the machine gun team and the sharp shooter on the way. No wedgie for this one but the others will have some groundwork.
