8th Army soldier, Sicilian Campaign 1943

hi everyone

My latest effort, in progress. I decided to create an 8th Army figure, but in the Sicilian campaign, rather than the usual North African. He is made with an epoxy skeleton, with Sculpey detaling. The two tones of Sculpey isn't a fashion statement, but it does help maintain contrasting detail when sculpting one element over another, ie adding webbing over the uniform. Here he is so far:

alright, here is our intrepid 8th Army trooper with his paint job. Now the real question; moustache, or no moustache? (compare first and last photo!)
