Gentlemen

Decision made, at last: coming soon to a thread near you. Reserving the right for new decals and bits.

Cheers

Good to have you along.

There is something about them, they look small, but are actually very capable. Though obviously a Lightning would make short work of them.

Andy

I think I'm going to go with one of the kit schemes, as both are quite nice, and the kit isn't too old, so the decals () look fine.

Tony

Nice to have you in the front row, that looks like a nice build.

Alan

As ever, a pleasure to have your company.

Thank you sir, much appreciated.

Okay, afternoon off for me, because I'm knackered. But relegated to the garden table as is working from home and so wants the dining room table to herself. I may well put some sprue / decal photos up later, because, as you sometimes get with Revell, the main body parts look eccentric .

Appreciate your interest. The Lightning will be finished before this begins. Just wanted to, you know, commit.

Cheers

Okay, as promised, some sprue shots. Taken in the garden, because, at this time of year, the garden table is a little dark courtesy of the rampant vines:

That's with flash which I've not yet managed to work out how to turn off.

Okay, apologies for the sky reflections, upper hull:

Back part of the lower hull, plus rear wings:

Wings and tailplanes:

Lots of stuff to tool her up with:

Finally, decals, a disappointing eighty or so, I would guess. Probably going to go with the red decals and black tailplanes:

Cheers
