...or it could be Seafire of course.

Okay, my first Tamiya for some years, and the required paint mixes are even more barking than Revell
. Why I might need 'gold leaf' as a colour is beyond me . So I think we'll wing this one and use green, grey and another grey .I thought you were supposed to paint the bottom blue
.Cheers

1137 forum posts 218 photos | Evening all, Here’s a few shots of my Airfix PR XIX , The kits a good one with a lot of thought gone into the kit with dedicated new mould sprues for the wings (no gun ports), fuse and ancillaries.
No instrument decal though I made my own from a downloaded picture ![]() Wings are together and the ‘office ‘ given it’s first coat of paint. I’m trying to keep this light in colour to stop it looking like a black hole when the fuse is closed up. More tomorrow, with luck Cheers Steve

Oooo er. Google Chrome is certainly having fun with MilMod forum posts from my computer tonight. Sorry for the triple post above. Can anyone remove the duplications? (Hi Peter, no problem, done. Robin)
Does anyone have a spare set of instrument decals for my Tamiya MK 1 cockpit? Just looked through the box and the kit doesn't provide them. Happy to pay via cheque including postage out here to Dubai.
Also, does anyone know of a homegrown alternative to MicroSol as I can't seem to get anyone to post liquids out to Dubai from the UK.
Cheers
Peter

2998 forum posts 583 photos | I must admit I'm tempted to put my 2 penn'th in the ring, but all I've got in the stash is the new Airfix Seafire, and the MkXII,that I have started, and they both seem to be covered. The only other one I have is the 1/32 MkIXc from Tammy.....and I am not going to even think about that one!!!...Yet!
The other reason is,...I most probably won't even finish it!!

10333 forum posts 3067 photos | Steve it's good to see you have started your Spitfire. Looking good. Do not know to much about plane colours. So it a great help when I can see the colour you used. I used the same colour for the inside of my plane. Make me feel better. Thanks Johnny |
