Anyone Fancy a Sherman Group Build?

Actually, as this is proving ot be a lot more popular than I ever expected, there's no reason why we can't make it longer

 

How long do people think it should be?

I'm all for 3 months - maybe even four, but longer than that and I think everyone begins to loose interest, also we have to move on to another GB sometime!

 

Imagine wanting to put crosses on a Sherman...

3 months tops - defeats point of a group build if it is open ended, or too long.

I think that I will have a go at this-it's been in my stash so long I can't remember buying it!

Personally I think a defined end is essential to focus everyone on completing their build and also if there is a defined end then its easier for Robin to put together a feature on the end of the GB if thats what we want to do and Robin doesn't mind

 

As for the length, I have a preference, but I'll not comment until more have had their say.

Great idea Chris.

 

I think six months would be better as there's less of a rush to start building, then the GB can progress at a slower pace.

 

Something that would be nice to see is the GB thread/topic as a permanant link (sticky) at the top of the latest posts page this would make it easy to view after the initial wealth of postings have been posted and the GB moves off the front page.
