762 forum posts 536 photos | Hi Guys, Thanks for the comments lads, John, been here for 15 years now, 3 houses later and 1 divorce and still loving it. Got lots of modelling left in me but whether any more house renovations.....well......... hoping to get some pre shading done tonight and then the base colour with some light shading. The weathering will really stretch me as its a new challenge for me. We'll see how things go.

Had a go with a airbrush and a mud loaded brush, went through a lot of a4 paper first, good fun bob |

762 forum posts 536 photos | Hi Guys, Well I've got some paint on the ole girl. Firstly I sprayed on a darker coat of OD to be able to give depth with lighter coats when they are applied. Here are a few pics.
Its the first time I have used my air brush on a finished model, so on a pretty steep learning curve.
Advice humbly accepted on techniques etc.
