Hi guys here are some figures i am adding to an already made small diorama of a Tiger 1 in Winter on the eastern front
I have added liquid glue to the fur areas of the coats and then when it has softened the plastic i have teased it up with a sharp pointed tool to represent fur with a more realistic appearance
After priming the figure i have started with a base coat for the coat in a mix of sand yellow and buff.

2560 forum posts 399 photos | This was followed by a mix of the base colour and medium brown mixed 50 50 with water and painted in as a wash for the shadow areas. The paints used by the way are Valejo acryliks.
After drying this i painted in the highlights to the suede type coat. For this i added some white to the base coat.
When dry again i added filter coats of the base colour in weak washes. This step you dry between coats and add until you are happy with the look. I stopped when i asked my wife what she thought the coat was supposed to be made out of and she replied suede, Good enough.

Thanks Noel and Tony , glad to have you tag along.
Next step on this is i mixed up some white with a little of the base colour to a light creamy white. This was for the fur parts and the wide stitching. Diluted 70 paint and 30 water i painted all these area,s. By using the base colour in each step you have unity with the paint.
