M1A1 Abrams MBT with Mine Plow....

Hi Gents.

I was having a sort around in my loft the other day when I came across this M1A1 Abrams, to be truthful with you gents I had forgot I had it. As I was looking for something different to build I decided to give it a go.

The Abrams comes moulded on six sprues in the now usual tan plastic that Tamiya use, and has some very fine detail.

Sprue A, you get 2 of these in the kit....

Also in the box is the lower hull....

And the rubber band tracks which are quite nice....

There is also a small poly bag containing such things as the mesh for the bins, a nut and bolt for the barrel and of course the poly caps to hold the wheels in place.

Add to this the decal sheet and thats about your lot.

On this particular kit the construction starts with the mine plow (plough). The first parts to be assembled are the two travel locks....

The two together....

As we come to expect from Tamiya there were no issues at all with the assembly.
