Looking good crates and all. As for the figure, wait for a stormy night and with a bolt of lightning..."it's aaliive!!!"

Cheers,

Richard

Thanks Richard

Got some paint on the crates and tied them down although there is currently a slight problem in that one of the lifting eyes broke and so the 'rope' is not currently as taught as it should be

Hmmmm - nearly finished. Not over happy with the results - rushing to get it finished and late night modelling when half asleep do not a good model make thumbs down

Hi I'm Ross, long time follower first time poster on this thread wink. Looks great to me, really like the weathering you've acheived on this. We do tend to be our own worst critic's. I agree late night or early morning modelling is not conductive to good modelling.

cheers

If thats you rushing I'd like to see what you're capable of given a good amount of time a good night's sleepface 20. I really like the effects you get with the drybrushing.

1/72 Char B1

Managed to get a start on the track assembly

Basically made my own link'n'length from the resin castings

Got most of the way round one side but need to clean up some more castings now

1/48 Sherman

Not happy with the base so i filled and sanded all edges again then repainted it

The broken lifting eye was mended and the stowage tie down re-done

Everything, base and vehicle then got the pastel chalk dust treatment on upper horizontal areas and all around the lower hull to try and blend together

(Hooray - the pictures seem to be working again.Well done tech team)

The filler has shrunk slightly when drying and the tank doesn't sit as well as it did originally

Still not mega happy with it but i'm going to stop messing as the GB deadline is nearly upon us

Decided to mod a Tamiya commander figure just to fill up some of the hole in the top

Might be my imagination, but is there a slight gap on the front left of the tracks on the Char?

Took a good look at the Sherman a few times, then noticed our new snail friendthinkingsarcastic 2face 20. Thankfully we have floorboards downstairs which drain quite wellface 8. Stop doing thatteeth 2teeth 2teeth 2.

Simon, looks very good to me, be kind to our legless individualsmiley.
