Hi Rossco,

Looks great. Lots of intresting points on the paintkob. Very much to see.

Personally I go with the spend cases and leave the rest of the ammo in the bins. That would make more sense.

I would leave the magazine. Waiting for new victems is boring

Hi Ross

I like the cluttered stowage. Things like maps. binoculars, flasks etc. I sort of feel that those things would get left lying around. Not sure what would be right for the ammo but it looks very good. This whole build is turning out to be a real winner. As Craig says the weathering is really nice. You have got to be one happy Aussie face 20

Looking GREAT! thumbs up Nice touch using helmets too. I agree with guys about the shells... I'd be a nervous wreck if I had shells standing up close to me. If it was me, I would add more dirt to the floor... they were so dirty as shown in many pictures.

Not my area of expertise either Rossco but maybe the shells would be easier to lift from a horizontal position and then load into the gun. Can you keep the rounds as they look good but have them lying in an ammo crate? How did the Marder store ammo anyway? is there a rack there somewhere?

Saw a brief clip on youtube recently which had a Marder barrelling along over fields mid battle. Probably a propoganda clip and It was in B&W but the shape was unmistakable. Mean machine!

Johan, thanks mate, I think I agree with you, will leave the shells out of the build, the magazine is going to stay smiley.

Jim, yeah mate a happy little vegemite wink.

Andy, pigments to be added some time after the figures go in.

Peter, if you look hard at the pics, there are 2 shell holders on the left and right of the turrent and then there is the stowage on the floor. One of the shells will stay as a figure needs it.

cheers

Rossco

First time I've tried painting eyes on figures. The floor at the back is still a bit damp from the pigment fixer.

Danny, thanks mate, not sure if I'm 100% happy with them but practice will improve them.

VI, cheers mate, I tried a number of poses and that was the only one that looked natural.

cheers

Rossco

Hi Ross

Those figures work so well. Really fit nicely - were they bought as a "pair"? I like the details in the interior. The shells are spot on and the little details like the helmets, the fire extinguisher, the chain etc add to the natural look.

You should be very happy and have earned a few more drinks!

Jim
