Hi Dave,

Exciting to hear you've got another diorama up your sleeve.

In general terms, for an early Ardennes scene, a mix of both SS and fallschirmjager troops would ad visual interest. Something nice to break up the vehicle colors would perhaps be a captured American jeep. Lot's of captured allied supllies, as well.

I look forward to seeing your interpretation.

Cheers !

Ian

PS: I've got two future dio scenarios up my sleeve, as well !

Thanks Andy

I have not moddled at this scale for about 25 years but should be ok with a little help.

I think a Panther G will complete the vehicles and then it's the task of planning and getting all the figures. Are any of the Dragon figures any good does anyone know?

Hi Dave

How about a Harley Davidson M/C ....with a couple of troops looking it over as a decent bit of booty!

Have troops carrying syphon hoses and looking for any fuel they can wink 2

This is going to be an ace dio thumbs up

There are some decent Dragon sets out there Dave, just be carefull if you are doing SS figures though as some Dragon sets depict there Ardennes figures wearing padded reversibles in SS camo but I have never seen SS camo being worn on winter reversibles during this offensive.

Thats a good set of Figures there posted by Alan .. Kampfgruppe Hansen I think.

In resin we did have the lovely set from Warriors a very early release of the above figures but long OOP.I brought some originals on e - bay a couple yrs back so worth checking now and then still.

Now we have this set from Mantis Miniatures available from Darren on here at Firefly Models.

I have it and its superb, maybe the MG42 rounds need tweaking as look overly big but easy enough for you smile
