Something quite different this month as we feature an Italian Scout Car which looks mighty familiar! Mark Bannerman applies some Blu-Tack and a steady hand to replicate the unusual 'Giraffe' camouflage scheme. This is followed by the conclusion of Mario Eens superbly weathered and worn 1:48 scale Hetzer. Figure modellers are catered for next with Adrain Hopwood's accomplished painting of The Basement's 1:10 scale War of the Roses Billman bust. Steve Guthrie and Cookie Sewell then combine forces to report on the AMPS 2012 National Convention held at Auburn, Indiana, USA. Chris Meddings next launches our new series Kit Building for Beginners which even 'old hands' should find of use. Lastly, Michael McLaughlin continues his Painting 1:35 scale figures with acrylics series with an Italian WW2 AFV Officer figure from Hornet - just the job to go with Mark's Lancia Lince Scout Car!

The next issue goes on sale 6th July

Another fun packed issue, always glad to see Mario Eens stuff and this little 1/48 Hetzer is a treat.

Glad to see Chris Meddings building for beginners up and running should be a popular series in which i have a vested interest latterwink 2.

Always a fan of show reports the more pics the better.

Good to see some class figure painting from Adrian Hopwood

Marks little armoured car in that Crazy Giraffe camo will be worth exploring.

Good to see Mikes Bush from his SBS Reappearteeth 2 and a nice subject painted to go with it..

Again looks like a fair mix and interesting read nice one Kelvinthumbs up

I have to make a public apology for, and correct an error which I made in this article titled WW2 Italian AFV Officer.

In this article I mistakenly said that this figure was made by Wolf Miniatures which are now part of the Sovereign 2000 (S2K) range.

The figure in this article was made by Hornet Models and not by Wolf Miniatures.
May I offer my sincere apologies to both manufacturers for this error."

Regards
Mike
