Andy

About three years ago, and it's absolute rubbish, kept only as a reminderface 4. Gloss Blue, liquid mask (rubbish, also, how do you mask the liquid maskface 20?).

Johan

You're absolutely right, it was the first kit I had made in 30 yearsteeth 2.

Best of luck, gentlementhumbs up. Could I politely ask that you all hate this stage and record such, because the Siren singsface 21.

Cheers

Timcat

Ls,

For the impatient ones. Progress!

Quick reminder of this awesome terribly difficult kit. So difficult that is is not much seen on internet

No less then 28 parts.

This is even worse than a plane. Panel lines and bolt detail everywhere. Glued two halves together sealed it with the deck. Small holes and seams to fill. I decided tot glue the small parts first and clean them in situ. Perhaps that prevents breaking the parts. First time I did this hope it works out.

Some pics. The eagle eyed notice that this has nothing to do with scale. The deck railing is 8 cm (3 inch) thick. The wall of the tower is 2 mm thick. That would be 70 cm. (Otto Carius could only dream of that.) It will be submerged allright!

More later.
