Hi guys

Well I've been a bit slack lately, had a minor loss of the mojo, so I thought I would so you the culprit. Well it's not the only one the ICM Mustang started it and this didn't help. I've pushed through to get it nearly finished.

Major Jill Long's, "Lets Roll", 354th Fighter Squadron, 355th Fighter Wing, Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona.

Thanks mate, it's 1/48 scale and measures out at around 35cm Long and 40cm Wide. It's the biggest thing I've built to date and not one of my best but did learn some things, which is always useful.

cheers

Hi Rossco

Id like to try my hand at some aircraft but space is limited and i dont have the dexterity for 1/72 stuff.

I do have a OH-6 in the stash but all those clean lines scare me (i'm not the neatest of builders and you cant really hide errors with mud on a wingy thing)

Cheers

really good work Rossco. Some years back we had A10 practice attacks on the near by power station .

Hi Ross

Nice looking model. Cockpit at this scale looks to have good detail although you will soon run out of shelf space with wingy things this size.

I thought the same regarding 1/72 then I tried the Hornet and it wasn't that bad a little slower then the bigger scales and with a good quality kit there's not much clean up required. Tamiya Extra Thin was a godsend though.

Johnny

Cheers mate, they are ugly things but an amazing amount of firepower tied up in them. When I was still on the farm, we sometimes would have the RAAF doing exercises in the area, it usually involved them flying very fast and very low, you wouldn't think an F111 could sneak up on you but they did cheeky.

cheers

Jim, already have no space for it mate frown, not sure what I'm going to do with it to tell you the truth.

Wouter, it almost didn't make it this far mate, almost went back into the box not to see the light of day.

cheers

Rossco,

I am loving the look of the A10.

There is one of these on the shelf of the local Hobbycraft. It is a really silly, low price and I have been tempted so many times. I think it is the old Monogram kit and that scares me a little but seeing yours might makmojo returns because you have turned out some stunning pieces in the past.

Regards,

Shaun
