Howdy all

My first winged thing, though it is half tank. While waiting for Libor's fantastic offering I thought I'd try one of these mean looking beasts, so here it is, my 6th build.

Some masks (though the wrong ones!) and some alternative decals will add to it.

BTW, left over decals and weapons available to anyone interested.

I added some cockpit details just to fill the gaps - seatbelts from tin...

I added a few extra bits as seen in various reference pics. Seat belts and the seat structure, some of the signs on the cabin walls, etc. The intention is to have the doors open.

Then on with the engines:

You can't see the missing piece in this shot...

...but look closely in this one.

Sadly this means one side engine cover will have to remain on, but I can live with that - it will give it variety. So now on to the fuselage.

It's a lovely kit that goes together well, though my dry fit of the fuselage halves indicate I'll have to do a little work before any glue goes near it. Something is not quite right.

Cheers Tim and Johnny.

Some detailing on the interior. I need to get better at brush painting...

Can't really tell from the photo what is a problem and what is the cameraface 4. Shout if you need some advice, I only ever brush paint. It can go wrong for no obvious reason, but is nearly always fixable:

She was brush painted, but some areas needed a couple of tries, it happenssarcastic 2.

Cheers Pete - it should be too late by then, unless there's a Hind A as well. If you plan on modelling a Hind D or E I have the Bush Wars decal set should you want to get some variety.
