Hi Tim, thanks. This is apparently one of the very early production kits shipped out but that hasn't proved to be a problem. It's up to ITA's usual high standard that's for sure.

I'm just trying to pluck up the enthusiasm to do a bit more - or should I just relax with a beer in this heat. Hmm...

Ken,

Must admit I was eyeing Chris' interiors a short while back, so the Matilda with all the trimings is for sure a future 'must'.

Good luck! thumbs up beerbeer

I've got the ITA Kingforce set in the "as and when I get time" pile.

Definitely Bookmarked.

Thanks all. It's certainly been an interesting build so far. I found a very useful blog of the interior over on Armorama that Chris Meddings had advised extensively on which made things a lot clearer when it came to what went exactly where, and Alan L's measurements and advice have proven invaluable.

Well, nothing much done today apart from sticking the front and top on.

beer beer in the garden won out in the end... smile d

I also made a few changes at the back (just for a bit of interest) suggested by a period photo sent to me by Chris M.
dscn1465.jpg
Smoke dischargers deleted, deflector extended across the whole width and tow hook omitted but bracket kept.
And yes, I managed to snap off one of the fuel drum brackets - I'll nick one from the Mk I donor kit as I'm changing the back end on that to the 5" outlets and no fuel drum.

Cheers... beer

Wow Ken,this is racing along smile o

Looking great though! yes

With the auxilliary tank there was a connector for the fuel line on the air outlet.

The line ran to that and a pipe connected the connector through the tranny compartment into the engine. The switches I provided in etch to go on the top left inside of the hull are (larger) the fuel selector for A, B and Aux tanks, and a lever to jettison the fuel tank
