Somewhere in this wonderful world of ours it is 1 August. For our American, West Coast buddies still some hours to go before breaking open kit boxes and photographing the sprues. Much enthusiasm has been generated since Michael Scarborough 1 in NYC posed the question on 1 May; "Is anyone interested in doing a North Africa GB? How bout a Battle fo France GB? I am a total neophyte and do not feel at all qualified to moderate it even if I had the time. Just thought I'd float the idea." The answer was a resounding 'yes' with Robin politely requesting 1 August would be appropriate with the P-51 build more or less under wraps..... Looks like we are into the "off!" Best of luck Chaps..... Smuggles of Arabia |

765 forum posts 536 photos | Hi, Well this is my little contribution, Hoping to put it all in to a dio depicting a resupply area/safe area with a couple of cannibalised vehicles, ( I built the SAS jeep and Chevie many many years ago, 70's) which I shall install into the dio. Every thing in a group
the 2 Chevies which will be different in armourment and loads, yes I got 2 the 2 SAS jeeps figures will be changed , see below the load for one of the Chevies the figures, I do not intend to use them all For the jeeps
This for me is a huge under taking but I like a little pressure as long as it is positive.
Cheers Mike

2019 forum posts 142 photos | Absolutely Mike,
Should make a rather fetching set piece ...and Michael, the Panther looks interesting too.... I must commend Tamiya in exploring 1:48 armour and soft skins so as to integrate - or at least have the possibility to integrate aircraft as well... Pip pip! (with shivers too...) 891 forum posts 1849 photos | Now if Ross joins in, he'd have a good 2 hours head start from where I come from. I'm only 1 half hour away to start time but hit with sinus attack again. Also trying to finish up my Spit which I started along with the Mustang. No worries ...got some photos up. Good intro Prof. Harvey aka agent Pincis. Mike, that looks like some major dio going up soon. Lots of goodies to go with it. My contribution to the build... The Panzerjager starts first OOB. Just finishing it is good enough for me. With a bit more time maybe a vignette. Lots of 'Bobbit' types here...quite common. A number of cases due to jealousy and the occasional mistress. Oooohrrr shiver!!
Lucky we stick to plastic mogeling. Cheers, Richard
