Hi, first off I think an explanation or two of the purpose of this thread...

I'm building LZ Models' "Italian CMP Ford F15 Truck with 20mm Breda gun Mod .39" over the next few weeks on behalf of Carl Startin. I'll then be passing it to him to work his magic on it with paint and weathering. (And as I have no idea how he's going to be marking it up and finishing it I've missed off the word "Italian" from the description.)

Although this is in the Resin Blogs section, this is not going to be a build log of all the construction steps. Adam Kuller has done an excellent job of that already and I'll be re-reading his blog very carefully believe me. Instead, this is a thread where I can post update pics so that Carlos can keep a beady eye on my progress.

As usual though, comments and suggestions are more than welcome. smiley

Cheers,
Ken

As with all kits, but more importantly for resin ones, a check of all the parts against a printoff of the instructions parts list. I then bagged up each page separately and labelled it.

A minor distraction - I thought I was a couple of pieces diffy for a momnt or two...

I could only find two of these - then after checking the instructions realised that each piece was in fact two individual door handles. blush

There's only one of part A89 - but reading the instructions again, you only need one as it's the top step that fits on part A83 above it.

No worries then, it's all present and correct. laugh

Id just like to say a BIG thanks for Ken kindly taking on this task ! smile

Looking at your resin works you are more than up to it Ken ! Im really looking forward to this team effort nerd

Hopefully Adam K will drop by and Libor to see it progress, and good to see everybody else drop in also wink 2

Thoughts at the minute regards finishing will be a captured truck pressed into service by the DAK,so a nice canvas for weathering,I want to also add a figure and I will display it on a black base only with no groundwork so it can be entered into military vehicle classes, which will really show off the kit, build and paint. (No pressure Ken) !! face 20

Over to you buddy

Cheers all. And thanks Adam, I appreciate your looking in and will take you up on your offer. smile

A bit of a delay - family problem. Got a call at 3am from Mum saying she's flooded out. Pipe had burst under the bath (downstairs luckily) and it took me a good couple of hours to stem the tide and clear up. Got to go back now to sort out insurance, plumber etc...
