I have always liked Italeri and their 1/35 kits. They may be simpler than some others, but offer good value for money and can include some great features. This one has link and length track, a zimmerit finish on the hull sides plus interior detailing and ammo rounds (with stencilling included on the transfers) for the huge 38cm morser it carried.thumbs up

Actually Robin, I am becoming a fan of Italeri, with the Pig almost done bar the PE and the Autoblinda on its way, the kits themselves have been more or less a stroll in the park, but the door has been open to do other stuff with the structure and raise the bar a bit; i.e. one can do modelling with the basic kit. I imagine the same can be said for this one.. thumbs up

Looks quite good. I like the fact they have used link and length track

May have to investigate this one

I've always had a soft spot for this tiger but haven't had the time to build one yet, think I'll add this to my growing wish list

Well I've got the Tamiya and the AFV Club Sturmtigers in the stash so it will be interesting to see how this one stacks up in comparison smile

I recently finished the original release of this one, as a friend donated a part-built one from his 20yr old stash:

It was a very nice kit to finish off, and my first go with link'n length tracks. The interior's a bit sparse, but gives you enough to look at through the hatches, the mortar breech is quite nice though! I used this one mainly as an airbrush camo exercise, and I think it came out ok...
