I was given this boat by a fellow modeller Jez Thompsom. It was built by his brother who has passed away. Jez was showing a lot of his brothers models at the Poole viking show and i saw the boat there. i commented on really liking the boat and that i would like to build one and weather the hell out of it. Jez contacted me recently and awarded me the model and said work your magic on it Andy,my brother would be proud for you to paint it. So this one will be for Jez and his brother and i will try and do them both proud. I forget his brothers name but i will rectify that soon. I have fixed a couple of broken parts and given it a coat of primer ready for a new coat of old paint. This is going to be well worn and rusty.
