Tony Dill's Mimmi

I think this is the first WW1 aircraft that we have featured as a result of a blog, so congratulations to Tony Dill for completing the Roden 1/48 kit of the Fokker D.VII so well.  With neatly painted wooden elements, detail inside the fuselage and the use of the lozenge scheme transfers, this looks very neat indeed.  At one stage there was almost an early finish to the project, but hats off to Tony for his perseverence and going back to it to reach the finish line.

For those who may have missed his blog, where he details what he did to go about creating this delightful end result, then there is a link below.  My thanks to Tony for his blog in the first place, and for sending through this set of photos of the finished build.
